posted on

Borzen, the Slovenian electricity market operator, has in cooperation with the Energy Agency of the Republic of Slovenia, ELES, SODO and distribution companies Elektro Celje, Elektro Gorenjska, Elektro Ljubljana, Elektro Maribor and Elektro Primorska prepared a public consultation document on the role and integration of independent aggregators into electicity markets, primarily regarding the impact on the balance scheme, the relations between aggregators and suppliers and regarding the corrections of metered power for individual customers, participating in ancillary services (balancing). The document also covers the possible "split-supply" model, the impact of defining baselines as well as various aspects of communication and data exchange, including the possible new role of the Flexibility Register.

The public consultation is open for feedback until 26. 6. 2020. All feedback will be gathered through the regulator (Energy Agency of the Republic of Slovenia). The documents (avaliable in Slovenian only) are available here.
